Eat a humble pie!

Have you met people who thinks he/she's the best person in the world, the one who is too overconfident, really arrogant, highly overpraised himself and discriminate other people just because he's superior to the others? A person whom you just want to give a nice humble pie? How do you deal with this kind of people?

This reminds me of an American boxer whom I only know as Hakeem. He once went to South Africa for a fight against a South African boxer. His trainer was extremely boastful that the South African will find the going tough and that the South African boxer had no chance at all against Hakeem. I could believe it when Hakeem was knocked out by the South African boxer and the fight did not go very far.

I do meet one in my life. he was my supervisor. He has PHD degree. In his eyes he's the greatest one. He know everything and you know nothing. Because he's position in my company so nobody can have different oipions from what he said. I felt very depressing with him. So I usually kept silent when he gave speech, also tried not close him. Unluckily he was my direct supervior, so i had to suffer him Now i left the company and i'm glad i don't need suffer him. I got freedom. I wish I never have similar boss any more.

Well I believe we are all guilty of that sometime in our life, thats how we learn how it feels to others. That is when we either learn the lesson or some just don't care and continue the same attitude. Myself I am more of a listener/helper. I make mistakes all the time, I fail at things, so what, I still try and help others with those learned lessons. Not being arrogant here, its just nice to be able to give advice in something that might help someone else from making the same mistake you have.
