Tea or green tea is beneficial for the body, but there is a period where the need to drink tea reduced. Similar to the suggestion of the parents to reduce or obviate drinking coffee, the Mother-the mother who is pregnant should be careful in consuming green tea, because caffeine contents in green tea is very big.

Too much intake of tea is bad because you got to pee a lot..which is very disturbing.but to old people it is beneficial..it helps in cleansing the colon..thus avoiding cancers and other diseases..all things in excess is dangerous...if not properly uses..

Tea, and coffee both are Diuretics which means, you urinate out more liquid then you consume. If you have troubles staying hydrated, then it is best to be careful with tea. Cheers.
