I have read a book named "The Heavenly Man," the true-to-life story of a Chinese evangelist who has undergone severe persecutions, beatings, tortures and imprisonment for preaching the Gospel in China. He and his companions were persecuted and imprisoned for their Christian faith. When you read the book, it's like you're reading the book of Acts in the bible. How he has endured the severe tortures and electrocution repeatedly will surely challenge "sleeping and cold Christians" today to make their faith alive. I was deeply challenged by this book to continue my duty as a Christian -- to make my faith alive and practice it. We, who live in free countries, can freely join church, sing and worship the Lord and practice our faith without any restrictions. How about if we face persecutions, tortures and imprisonment for being Christians, shall we remain faithful to God? Our trials we face today is nothing compared to what Christians are facing in China. What can you say? I highly really recommend this book for you to read and be inspired and challenged by its contents.
