Discussion is just all about discussing a topic. Mylot wants discussions from it users. But what I have found with many users here is that they just want to earn more and more with discussions. There are users who post multiple discussions over here in a short time. Mostly the discussions are useless. Even if they don't have a topic, they will start commenting about some PTC sites. It is OK to discuss about PTC sites but the discussion must be composed. Most discussions are just one or two sentences long. And the responses to those discussions are also one or two sentences.

Yeah people that do that type of thing don't understand the system and think it's paid PER post, what they fail to realize is, one longer discussion of quality will earn FAR more then 10 discussions of one sentience starters and just a couple short reply's. Along with the fact that it will kill their Star Ranking which directly affects their earnings as well.
They also fail to realize they often times people will report these discussions and as such they will lose earnings and/or their entire account.
This is a Discussion board that pays, not a forum that pays per post to sum it up.

It pays more for longer posts in general.
Along with the longer posts you have a better chance of getting "+" and Best responses which in turn earn more and affect your Star Ranking which also affects your earnings.

By trying to spam, they are not benefiting themselves they are hurting themselves more. They just don't realize it.
But Because Mylot doesn't affect your earnings until end of month for deleted messages, they don't see an immediate affect to their earnings, so they continue to do it.

Haha, I applaud you for making a discussion on this topic. *clap clap clap* I have seen countless discussions with titles such as, "Is MyLot Really Worth Our Time?" Then the person continues on about how they make fifty plus respones a day and wonders why they only make a few cents. Quality is key here at MyLot which is a very, very good rule becasue most people will actually put some thought into what they write instead of just one or two sentence questions and answers with poor spelling and other gramatical errors. Discussions should take time to write about and you are right that they shouldn't be rushed. Thanks again for acknowledging this.

Yeah, there are a lot of discussions about mylot @ mylot. So when the admin or the staff had planned about mylot, they didn't have thought that they will be getting lots of discussions about them only. They have no benefit from discussions about them except that they gain a +repu from there own site.

I totally agree, but that is expected from any profittable online services I think.
myLot is keeping it's service active in exchange to attracting greedy thoughtless users. In another word, if myLot stops the whole earning system, surely those spammers would go away, but at the same time, many of the good users would leave as well, which may lead to close down of the website.
I think what should be done is to create a fare earning system that would prevent bad users from obtaining attractive earnings (which I think myLot is trying hard on), or to make the website itself so attractive such that people would still use it even without the earning.

Yes,mylot is a stage for different people from different countrys to have a talk together. Earning money is just a way to encourage us to communicate. If we just post some useless information you will feel boring and tied. When we discuss we just to show our view not to earn money. Just adjust your attitude,in mylot you can enjoy talking and earning. Thanks for mylot,i can enjoy my post.
