The English media is reporting that Andrew Flintoff is out of the 4th test. He has been having some trouble for the past two years with his knee and ankle and was less than impressive at yesterdays training session. This is a big blow for England, especially after the loss of Pieterson earlier. So how will this affect the game? I think Flintoff is the difference between the two sides and England will miss him.

yes it is sad that he is out of the match.i thought in the absence of flintoff strauss would definitely play well but he got out cheaply. and what happened to collingwood,he also got out for a poor shot(he should have left that ball).i think now everything is in the hands of cook,he needs to consolidate the innings.

it is not confirmed still,he has 30% chances of playing.obviously Flintoff is the main weapon for england, his performance in the 2nd test was a match winning one.and even though he was half fit in the 3rd test he scored well.so if flintoff doesn't play then the australians will definitely have an edge over english men. we would know about that in an hour's time, lets wait till then. i hope he will be fit to play, bcoz if he plays he will bring an added excitement into the game with his terrific commitment and skill.

Its confirmed and official now. Unfortunately Flintoff is not playing this game. Australia has a very good chance of winning this test considering Pieterson is also out. Yeh he brings a lot of excitement to the game and really gets the crowd going. Big loss for England and now they are struggling in the first few overs.
