I am a bread eater. There are days when I can live by bread and butter alone. I heat them in a small pan. It is real yummy for me.

Yeah i definitely could see myself living off bread for a day.. i mean i wouldn't enjoy it very much because i love a variety in my diet but i guess for survival purposes as long as i get a source of protein i could do it for maybe even a week!

Good! You have a positive mind. Heidi of the Swiss Alps enjoyed her bread through winter. A week is okay, by today's standard.

A few years back when money was even tighter than it is now I would go to the supermarket firth thing in the morning and buy a cheap loaf of bread and basically munch on it through the day as it would be quite literally the only thing I could afford to eat on some days. Times have changed for me and although I know I could get through a day on bread and butter alone I wouldn't choose to.

I love bread and butter, but it's not really good for me, so it's a now and then treat. Otherwise, I could live a whole day on it, no problem!

I can live a day with only bread and butter. I think everyone could. But you cna´t live on that very often as you also need some proteins, vitamins and minerals that the bread and butter doesn´t provide. I live alone and many times I prefer a sandwich insted of cooking potatoes, rice or pasta. It´s easier and I love it. But I make a lot of different sandwichs that turn them into a whole meal. They don´t even have to be expensive. Happy posting

A variety of sandwiches could really be good. I am diabetic though. I have to stay away from cold cuts, mayonnaise, jam or jelly, and even peanut butter. Sigh. When my sugar is controlled, I help myself to a club sandwich.

I don't think i can live by bread and butter alone although i like both. if you can offer honey as a bonus it would be more appreciated. I like toast my bread and put butter and honey on it. really Yummy. I know bread and butter are both basic foods for western life style. but just have them everyday it would be too boring. So noodle and rice would be good options.

Pancake style! I will try that. I had never put honey on my bread. Since you said it's yummy, I'll avail of Winnie the Pooh's favorite first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks for the tip!

Milk the whole day? You must be trying to slim down. But milk is all right. My daughter consumes so much milk while she burns the midnight oil.

I could "live" a day with only bread and butter. But I don't eat butter... and the bread would need to be some sort of healthy whole grain variety!! I guess people have done it for ages before. I am just not much of a bread eater overall!!

I do not think I survive on only bread and butter the whole day, I am a rice eater and it is a filling diet, may be if no other way I may be able to. I think I should give a try. Great of you to live only on bread.
