i hate the month of august!!!

The month of August is terrible for me. It brings back so many bad memories. My husband died in a motorcycle accident on August 15th, 1978. My daughter was only 13 months old when it happened.
My dad died on August 14th, 1993. He was a terrific dad and was always there when we needed him. I miss him so much.
The last loss was my boyfriend. He was divorced and his ex wife would not leave us alone. He said he would never be able to get rid of her until he was dead. Son on August 1st, 1995, he took 199 pills and ended his life.
I asked a doctor once if he could make me comatose on July 31st and wake me up September 1st so I could just skip August. Instead he just gave me pills to make it easier. Little did he know, they didn't work. So now, every August I just become a miserable old biddy that no one wants to be around.

I can't say that I know exactly how you feel, but I have a partial understanding of how you feel. I hate mid-Feb. through March. In 1995 my dad had a massive heart attack on Feb. 10. He was comatose until he passed away on March 2. His birthday would have been on March 6. I am definitely a miserable person that no one wants to be around during that time of the year.
I hope no one says to you that eventually it will get better, because the truth is that it never will. Life is tough like that and you add the fact that it is multiple losses to it and it makes it that much worse.
I hope that you get through the month of August and have a great remainder of the year.

You do know how I feel. And you are right, it never gets better. People that say it does, have never suffered a great loss. Until they do, they don't have a clue.

Im always happy in August because its my birthday. Just because bad stuff happens to you during a certain month doesn't mean you should avoid having fun.

Sorry to hear your sad stories, it will happen for a reason and only God knows why it happen toyour family.
Me i love the month of august because this is my month to celebrate my birthday. This is also the time that my friend remember the happy moments every year that we celebrate my day!!

I feel very sorry for you and I understand your feelings. Life sometimes give us with these kinda harsh treatments and we need to undergo certain tensions. What you experience in the month of August, I experience them in the month of March and that is the only difference. Whatever happens, Life has to go on and we need to brave these kind of harsh realities somehow and somewhat

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. You've been through a lot. I guess sometimes faith can be cruel... But I don't think you should try skipping this month. It's just not healthy... I think you should just believe in yourself and have some faith. Cheers!

Oh geez, so many awful things happened in August for you. But I hope you remember that every second that God gives to us must be fully capitalized into something that worth it. I know that a lot of things happened to you in the past, but so many great things will also happen in the future. People come and goes in such an unexpected way cause in the end human will be just dust right? So be blessful of all the time we have in this world. Take care!

Oh, I love August! The weather is great, having fun at the beach, no school, and my birthday is August 17th! If all those bad situations happen in August, It would bring back a lot of bad memories for me so I guess I can understand what your going through. Maybe you could take a vacation somewhere every august to take your mind off of things and just relax. Good Luck! -Madb0mber

August is an okay month. I don't mind it... it's not bitter like january or february.. and nor is it hot as hell like june and july..so it's not a bad month all in all..but then again I don't have any emotions attached to that month like you have and I can see myself hating a month if so much hapened to me...but actually university for me begins late august every year and I hate even thinking about going back to university..
