This Train will stop at.........

I read today that a woman in China had the train on her wedding dress that was 7,083 ft long! (2.2km). I wonder how many bridesmaids it took to carry it and how they communicated which way the bride was going. Imagine if she turned right and someone half way down turned left!

I read that article too. It said they rolled it up. But I will admit, that is crazy.

They did. But that kind of defeats the object in my view. Let it all hang our behind!

What the heck!? Why would anyone want a train that long on a wedding dress? A bit excessive, isn't it? A six foot train is a bit excessive, to me, and that seems to be rather normal as far as wedding dresses go.

If she was in this country, decoration would be no problem. By the time it caught up to where she was going, it would be covered in graffiti. Prehaps after the wedding it became her husband's leash?

Wow! seriously?who in their right mind would have a train on a wedding dress that long. Heck that was long enough to make several more wedding dresses. What a big waste of material though..Yeah..it would be confusing having one that long..

They did it to break some record Becky. I agree with you. A real waste of material. All her clothes in future will be white!

LOL! Why in the world would she do that? Maybe she was trying to get in the Guiness book of records? That would certainly be a sight to see!

I think that was exactly what they were trying to do. The groom made the dress!

You are funny! If the bride decided to walk in circles...how long would it be before the bridesmaid at the end found out? Or is she was jealous and staked it to the ground...how long before the bride would know?

That is absolutely unbelieveable!!! I would love to know how a thing like that is even possible. I would love to see a picture or better yet a video of this event. That would be really something to see. I would also love to know how much the darn thing actually cost. Wow!

wedding gown - simple wedding gown
Wow thats such a really long train for a bride's wedding gown. I am not yet going to marry but I do hope soon in the near future with my current bf. I don't like things with too much hassles so I would prefer a wedding gown that is simple but has an elegant style in the same time.

The only cafe near my home is not within walking distance. It is Starbucks and IMO should be renamed "Bigbucks" as they are too expensive and my own homemade coffee with a choice four different flavors of coffee creamer is better than any Starbucks.

I wish that I knew which discussion you were replying to. I'd love to see if you wrote about wedding trains in response to that one! LOL. Happens to us all from time to time.

oh my g.pikey I saw a picturee in my mind with some people going one way, while others were going a different way. then I saw the long long train rip right in two. wow. thanks for a big chuckle. 7000 feet long that is a real distance. she turned right and they turned left bet she got to the altar with just half of it and pretty darned bedraggled at that. he he he.

They rolled it up apparently. But she must have worked out beforehand to make sure that she could carry it!

I read this story. To make the wedding dress it costs about $ 6000.The names of bride and bridegroom are Leen Rong and Jhau Peng. Jhau Peng already sent the VDO footage of the wedding dress to Genies authority.Really this is fantastic.

Fantastic and a waste of money really. But if they could afford it - then why not I suppose.

I would think that could probably cause a huge problem P1key!!! Now why on Earth would someone want a train on her wedding dress that long unless it would be to show off how much money she has? I would imagine that the last person 2.2km back couldn't hear the wedding ceremony very well! I also wonder what on Earth is she going to do with it after the wedding...I would imagine that it might be quite difficult to find enough storage space!!

She'll never need another duster as long as she lives GEL! LOL.

So true P1key, I guess it is one of those things that if you buy it Before you are married then you will be able to live the rest of your life without having to worry about where the money for a new duster will be coming from...now that you think about it...probably is good planing!!!

Sister Alice! Now you see! With Your information it makes sense!! I am sure that it will be auctioned off and the money given to a worthy cause! As for the last person not being able to hear...well you must admit it would be rather hard to hear if you were 2.2km back unless of course you were a bat or some other animal with excellent hearing...mmmmhhhh! I wonder if a bunch of bats carried the train? Nah, probably not, as then it would have to be a night wedding!!!!!!!!! Leave it to that P1key to leave me in the dark, pardon the pun, about All the information! I just don't know what I am going to do with him!!!
