Dear mylotters, I read this comment on the internet news. It was said that due to the bad economic situation, people who likes to travel become more and more willing to change their house for travelling. Like A and B, they are living in a different city, A want to go to visit B city, B wants to visit A city, so A and B change their own house key, so that both of them can save money for the hotel! I think this is brilliant idea. I will do that if i have a chance. What about you? Thank you for sharing!

sounds very interesting, never heard before, yes, when we are travelling, we often trouble with where is for us staying some days, the hotel on special occasions always charged us more extra fee and the room condition wasn't very well, so if possible, we would like to lived at a private house during the travelling. that's very comfortable. good luck and have a nice day!

Hi, I have seen a TV series on that exchanging houses for travelling while experiencing something different. Then there was also a movie about it. I think that would be nice and exciting as well. I would go for that and I would really recommend those travellers who will want to experience a different culture. Just imagine someone or a family using my house and using the handpump at the back while doing the laundry LOL.

I agree. But remember what you think of them are the same thing that the other side of people are thinking. So, it's not easy

I think that it is a great idea to do a house share. For example a family in New Zealand comprising of a husband, wife and two daughters might live in Kerikeri in Northland in New Zealand. They might do a house swap for one month with a family in England comprising of a husband, a wife, a son and a daughter the might live in Bath in Somerset in England. The duration could be one month. They have to purchase flights from and to New Zealand and England. It would be a cultural exchange and unlike being a tourist in a hotel they would be living in area alongside the local people. I think that there would be a high level of trust and the people would have to have similar needs of accommodation. I think I would love to try exchanging my house with some people from a different country. The only problem is what I would do with my dogs. They might have to go into kennels.

Exactly! Either you need you know that person very well, or you trust him with your full heart, and the partner has to do the same thing. I still think it's easier said than done.
