Since last year, I did not witness any typhoon as strong as "kiko" is! Apparently, there is no typhoon signal in my city but the wind is so strong. It can drag you anywhere if you go just outside your door. It destroyed all my plants. Hoe about you? have you any experience with typhoons!

It rained last week for 7 straight days. It brought flooding and uprooting of trees due to softened soil. the rains were brought by the typhoon jolina although it was very far but the southwest moonson did the trick. Then there was a gale warning over the visayas so it was very windy as in super strong winds that the banana plant in the front yard toppled over. and there were acasia trees hundred years old also went down. Then the branches of the neighbor's mango tree went scraping and making loud noises on the roof of the house, so when it did not rain and there was no wind for one day, the branches were trimmed and we harvested some ripe big delicious cambodian mangoes LOL. The next day it got windy again.

Same here,we don't have any typhoon signal here in our city but all classes were cancelled and the wind is really really strong. We couldn't do anything but to just stay in our houses,we even had a blackout last Thursday night up to yesterday night. We're all so bored here in the house, nothing to do because there's no electricity,so it ended up with us all went back to bed and sleep all day.Grr!!I hate this storm. And to think that there's another storm coming after "kiko",and they say that this storm is also as strong as this one. I'm still very thankful that although there are storms like this one, there are no family or relative of mine being hurt. And that everyone of us is safe.

Good thing it did not pass through us since it could have been devastating if it has rains with it. In Manila, it created rains and flooding with some strong winds that I still feel even the sun has already shown. The weather is good now that it seems typhoon has already left for good.
