The Power Of Your Will: Can you achieve everything with it?

Hi, friends. Most of the motivational speakers say that one can achieve anything with a concrete will power. If a person is hesitant or reluctant in performing a task, chances are that he/she may fail or may gain nothing from it even if he/she succeeds. The degree of will power that a person puts in an effort determines the degree of success he/she achieves in it.
Do you believe a person can achieve nearly anything with a strong will power? If you have any instances of an exceptional will power of you or anybody else, please share.

Well, in some ways being strong willed and strong minded can get you quite far in life especially if you are Goal oriented and really wanting and trying to achieve something in your life. But as a Christian I think it has a lot to do with your will and Gods will working together and never giving up knowing that in time all you are wanting can come to pass as well.

Yeah, i agree completely with you. Even though i am not a Christian by religion, i am also a believer of a single God and the Christ`s teachings. I also believe that for something to be achieved God`s will has to be there backing up our will power. But. one thing is for sure, if we are doing something of righteousness with a pure heart, god`s will is there with us.

Thank you very much for this discussion. The correct answer to your question would be: I very much want to believe I can... and I'm working hard to make myself believe I really can! I have set my goals, and I want to achieve them, or better: I need to achieve them to survive.
Your discussion came just in time, my power of will needed to be brushed up a bit... Now I'm in fighting mood again!

Yeah, we all have goals and some degree of will power is always needed to achieve them depending on the level of goals one has set. I am sure you will achieve all you have aspired for, if you keep up your morale.
