i am a fan of animes and have been downloading them for a long time from different websites. One question i have about these websites is that, "where do these anime websites get their anime episodes(both old and latest animes)from". if you know, please share your knowledge.

I think the fansubbers got it from legit sources which is from the anime TV station website which can only be accessed by subscribers. The reason I say so because Animax is doing the same thing but the shows are not the latest from Japan though.

It's either they download it or they embed it. Getting the latest episodes from different animes is not as easy as you think. TheQuyen is the most popular uploader and solo subber when it comes to detective conan episodes, movie trailers etc. I met him when he was invited in conantantei but unfortunately, he's not that active because of downloading & subbing DC. Sites that stream anime or sites that let you download anime usually won't tell you where they get it.

From fansubbing groups. There're A LOT of groups and they get every last one's episodes. That's why they get subtitled anime, raw episodes can be found using torrents or special sites that are mostly japanese I'd guess.

If you want to know where the anime websites get their anime episodes from, there are two ways. They either; 1. Embed it off of Veoh, Dailyvideos, Youtube, Megavideo, and etc. OR They download the episodes from subbers like Dattebayo, etc. They're available in torrents.
