Lotto - a bad influence...?

Do you think that lotto is a bad influence to people and the future generations? People have lost lives and families due to gambling. Addicted, to due mere illusions thinking that they can win a lot of money, but instead, they lose everything little by little. Then, they go and ask parents, or someone to lend money and play and play. Hence, they empty out their bank and seek easier ways to gain money so they can gamble again. Turning to crime, they become more and more mesmerized by the idea of gambling. Dying, losing family, and everything. People rarely donate their money to charity. They use it on drugs, and other things and with money, people buy fake love. This hinders people's ability to really enjoy life. What do you think?

I think only when it becomes an addiction or obsession. Where family and financial security are sacrificed in hopes of making even more money. Otherwise I think it's just a fun game.

But do you think it will affect the society as a whole? As if there might be a "movement?" Perhaps a "gambling movement" where a lot of people are tending to grow toward gambling as a way to make money?

With the ecconomy the way it is, I would be surprised if we didn't.

Life is not a walk in the park even when you are born with a silver spoon. Life always deals you with a bad hand and how you take it spells success or failure. I know of some people who are lucky in gambling and they seem to have a charmed life. At the tne of the day, they do need to pay the piper too. Life is not so easy to categorize.

People just need to understand - they can not make a living off it though!
