I was doing so well eating a healthier choice...and then had a really bad day

Ok, for about 2-3 weeks I have been not dieting but making just healthier choices and I felt so good about myself
... lost 2 1/2 lbs in a week with the help of excercise as well. It not only gave me more energy and I was sleeping better and felt better too.
then yesterday I figured we were just hanging out as a family and we kind of made some bad choices and boy did I feel it last night!!! I was miserable, it is amazing how just that one day can make such a difference
!!
so today I will be back to eating better and back to excercising...even if it is just taking my daughter for a walk in her stroller!!
what about you... have you done this?? Have you done really well and then had a off day and noticed a difference??

You must be very determined to stay in healthy eating style! Thumb up for you.
I heard many parents try to keep their kids away from E things in their diet, as the result, when kids have some sweets they turn funny. I bet you must have done really well so far to be able to feel the difference.
I also try to eat as healthily as I can, and use organic ingredients whenever I can get hold of them. However, there deems to be one or two awful days in a month that I am unable to keep up with my plan. I used to feel very annoyed and frustrated but now I have to accept the fact that it is difficult to follow it everyday if you want to involve in some social activities. I am more relaxed about it now since I know healthy diet is part of my life and nothing can make me live in a way I don't want to be.

I believe that we all need a day here and there to just do bad... I mean you cant eat completely healthy 100% of the time.
that is great that you do well so much... I am determined to make better choices.. I know I will have cheat days where I will do bad but I think if I do more healthy and less days that are bad then I will feel better and set a better example for my kids.

i have been doing the same as you have and have been doing so since last january and to that end, i have gone down one dress size! don't beat yourself up over one day though, its not worth it. everyone has bad days where they dont live up to their own expectations. good luck!

I have been doing well off and on all year... since I really want to get back into my shape before I had my daughter 18 months ago... and I was really determined...and had a bad day yesterday. I will use it though that it will teach me not to eat bad for a while, I was really paying for it last night!!

Yes, I've done this plenty of times and felt bad about it later. I try to watch what I eat most of the time. The only time I don't worry about is on holidays and when we have potluck at church. I also like to eat out about once or twice a month and I get what I want then. I get tired of staying on a diet so much. Kathy.

yes, it is all about making healthier choices for the most part so that when we have do have those bad days we dont feel as bad about them....LOL
