Hi Everyone, I have been keen lately of current events in the world such as food shortage, economic crunch, war fare, pestilences, drought, earth quakes and increase in lawlessness. My questions are "Where is the world in realm of time?, Is the future of our generation guaranteed?, Can America save the world from deteriorating economy?, Could this be the beginning of great tribulations?" When i watch international news, local news round up the story is the same everywhere, from Europe to Asia, Australia to Africa, India to Latin America. Don't you people think that it is time we consider current events as hypothetical signs of things to come?. Bible prophecies point to something even greater. What do you think? Should the current events bother your mind? or Should you ignore and continue with life as usual? Let me know what each one of you think about this discussion since it concerns me so much.

Isn't the world really getting better?? Education is up. More people are being fed than at any other time. You forget china used to have mass starvation. Our communications and technology are advancing. Sure there are problems to solve but we are learning the truth slowly. KNOWLEDGE SOLVES ALL THE PROBLEMS!!!!if you base your information on the news, ask yourself. How much good news do they tell??? For most, the bad news is more exciting that's why it's all you here.

I believe that the only solution to general mankind problem will be God's Kingdom. For thousands of years manking has tried with several types of governements i.e. socialism, capitalisms and now trying democracy everywhere the result is pathetic. Conflict, corruption and inefficiency. In equality is what we don't even want to mention. it does not matter the level of technological advancement and improvement that mankind has made in respect to science, medication, transport and even agriculture. Mankind and their governments are unable to solve human problems. At least the Bible points (Dan. 2:44,45) that God's kingdom in the hands of Jesus will bring to and end all this governments and bring total solution to mankind perenial problems. Why not put hope in this kingdom? i can give you more information

Matthew 24:36-42 (New International Version) 36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. This is what Jesus stated. It seems that he wants us to reflect on what happened in Noah's day. There are lessons to be learned from that previous world catastrophe. Many perished because they ignored warnings and a few survived because the listened and took positive action for survival. God did provide a way to survive but the choice and results were a personal decision. Jesus said we should keep on the watch, that is watch world events that would indicate where we were in the stream of time. World events prove to me that we are getting ever nearer to another world catastrophe. A way to survive has been provided, will we take survival action or will we be like those in Noah's day that were too busy with the routines of life to make any extra effort to see what God's will was and take action that would have meant survival? All they had to do was join Noah and get into the ark. But their poor relationship with God because they had no time for Him prevented proper action and led to their destruction. What will we do? Read all of Matthew chapters 24 and 25 and see what you need to do!

In the time of Noah, survivers entered the ark. In the Time of Lot those who survived run to the Mountain with an order not to look back at the destruction of Sodom. In the First century at the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 c.e. those who paid attention to the prophecy heeded Jesus counsel to flee to the mountain and in deed they were safe. Today also God has provided a safe channel we only need to identify it and keep in pace with it and we shall survive. Indeed the timeleft is not much a flurry of activities and remaining prophecies shall be fullfilled with a twinkle of an eye. Lets be wory of timing and events for this could be the only way to save our souls.

Hi staraevp, I believe that all nations will have to work together to create a better world for all. It is pointless to worry, we must all do what little we can and put pressure on governments to do more. Don't worry about Bible Prophecies just take life one day at a time and help anyone you see in need. Blessings.

well, if america can do anything then it will only destroy the world further. the reason there are so many bad things happening is because we caused it, we treated this planet the way we did and it didn't like it, it has an upset stomach fron al lthe chemicals we dumped into it and all the holes we drilled in it. War is the result of people's decire to place psychopaths into the office and not do anything when they realise that the person is nuts. masses have the power to change everything, we can stop wars and we can stop the distruction of earth, we just have to stand up for what we belive is right. these things are not god's doing, it's our own doing, we did this to our planet and we have the power to kick some government officials out of the office. It's not to late, we can stop it, we just have to stop pretending that nothing is happening.

We have to think about life issues and solutions. But not to disrupt your life. Life must be running as normal.
