PBS fundraisers out of hand?

I know we are pinching our pennies and have for many years. We do watch alot of PBS programming but I swear they are having their lil fundraisers every month or more often instead of 2x a year. But this is getting a bit annoying! They say it's to pay for the shows, well they have big sponsors on many shows like GMC is on this old house, Target sponsors one of them too... I don't see why they just don't get more commercials and stop begging the public to send them $75+. It's just annoying when you expect certain shows to be on & they are on the air begging for more money!

I agree! I used to watch a lot of PBS but the fundraisers seemed to come every month or so, during the best shows. I can't give money to them, I have no job and they're not high on my list of worthy recipients.

I hear ya. To me charity starts @ home & my pockets are empty.... so there ya have it.
