Have you ever fallen in love with your friend but didn't tell him/her?

I can't say I ever been in love with someone who didn't know. I have been in love 4 times. My b/f is who I am in love with.I did hear earlier this year from a long time friend that he was in love with me for years and never said anything. I actually don't believe he was or is.I think he was just lonely and I was safe for him.

Sadly i never told her and she end up with some one else. but i was happy in the end because i didn't to go through their hard ships. just imagine if i was in that situation. i hope i don't repeat the same mistake again.. am not a kid anymore.

hey there panks..happy day to ya..,yeaaa i have fallen in love with a cpl best friends..my sons daddy which we have just been friends for 10 yrs..didnt really have a realtionship..but lately since hes been in Iraq and just got home yesterday..YAYYY!!!! well his home is in North Caroline and im in Pennsylvania..but still hes out..anywho he has become my best friend and i think im truley in love with him..and idont think i should tell and ruin what we have,,maybe someday..if i get enough guts lol...but for now i want to keep it the way things are..

Love is a very strong word. I would say that I have fallen for him. I just can't let it go any further than that. He has a woman. I would rather keep him as a friend than mess up there relationship. Maybe we don't look to fall for them, its just that extra attention we get from them that we long for. It hurts to see what we can't have.

This happened to me a long time ago. I was 17 years old and my friend was an older man that was the leader of our school Campus Life. I knew that Nathan was a great friend, but I didn't realize that I was in love with him until he moved to Oklahoma. Once he moved, I woke up one day and I missed him so much. It was then that I realized that I was in love with him. I missed him so much. I did, however, eventually overcome it.

I had a very good friend and neighbor that I fell completely head over heels for. We got along so perfectly, there was never any uncomfortable feelings between us and I though we would be a good match. I never actually told him to his face, but I'm pretty sure that it was obvious. His problem was that he had a very specific type of girl that he dated and I did not fit the description. Jokes on him though, looking back I'm not really sure what was so great about him. I met the love of my life three years ago and I can't imagine being with anyone else.
