I think I am 80% of time is like this. Let's say I plan on buying a lipstick and mascara, when I get to the store, I would still check out what's new and hot... and end up purchasing them as well... I think it is a bad habit... to spend more than the budget...
Are you like this too? I have tried to bring lesser money but I would end up using the money in the bank haha, I think I just bring lesser money to make myself feel better... but it is the same :-\

I definitely do this! I have even attempted to stick to a list while shopping, and really try NOT to buy extra things, but I can't seem to ever do that. I am a junkie for new products, or I will see something that is a great buy that I had not intended to buy, but I end up getting it anyway. I have an itch to spend money at times anyway, and I like having many things to choose from while I am at home. I have tons of soaps, shampoos, even laundry soap! I am somewhat of a compulsive shopper I suppose, but I really don't spend over what my budget allows.

Hello mermaidivy,
I was an impulse buyer. Whenever I see and I like, I just buy though the very first intention is to buy something else. I tried many ways to discourage myself from going to a shopping spree but to no avail until I met my beloved husband. He stops me from buying and stock up stuff at home. Now, I always have a list and just enough money to buy the stuff that I need. Oh, yes...I canceled all my plastic cards too!

hello,
this is funny... it happened to me before and I hate to go shop alone, otherwise I will end up buy something that I dont need. Now, I just bring just enough for what I want to buy and take out my credit card and my bank card out of my purse(keep them in separate) sound too complicate but it works for me. Now, I just buy what I really need.

I don't do this but my mother does. When she needs to some one thing from Target, she always comes out with a whole cart. Sometimes when I go with her I try to drag her away but then she'll say I'm rushing her and she's only buying the things for the family and that I use it too. Sigh....

I am guilty of this.even if I buy vintage and secondhand clothes,I get to buy more than my budget.I guess I am a vintage/secondhand addict.I find mountains of lovely clothes from vintage and secondhand shops.almost 90% of my clothes are from vintage and secondhand shops.

ALthought they are vintage and second hand clothes, it still cost you $$ to buy them! :-)

i never buy more than i need to as i always go out with cash only and not my card. This therefore forces me to keep to my budget.

Hi! just today I went shopping for new shampoo and sun block, but went out with full bag of cosmetics. I hate myself in those moments. I know, when I don't buy all that stuff, I don't need it, but I still buy it. nothing really helps, so i try to go shopping less often to prevent this.
