Should Wowowee's Willie Revillame Be Suspended?

i think that the MTRCB should focus more on much deeper issues because i strongly believed that they weren't doing their jobs effectively. the aquino family already made a say with this issue and i don't think that the MTRCB should exaggerate things. they're only taking so much actions with this issue because the person's involved are really BIGATEN... how pathetic MTRCB

Hi insurectus! I think the management of Channel 2 have already feted Willie Revillame an indefinite time of suspension (he was absence in the show since last Saturday). The irresponsible and careless comment of him regarding the simultaneous telecast of the transfer of President Cory's casket to Manila Cathedral had once again made him the talk of the town. The grieving nation could not take what he said live on the nationwide television. Eventhough how much good was Willie's intention (as he explained), I really think he should wait for the commercial to scold the staff about this incident. Have a nice day!

I think he already did suspended hisself to really think about what he did and I think he gave apology to the Aquino Clan and the Aquino clan did accept Willie's apology. I am not saying that he is out of the loop already, I am not a fan opf Williie too but I think he should be given the necessary disciplinary sanction given by the station to show to the public that he really is given no special treatment in that station. We should also understand that Willie's contribution to the station to stay afloat in noontime shows is due to the contributions of him. They may have lose some rating against the other noontime show but the show has kept the station afloat all those years and so far Willie has not failed them in terms of putting money in their station. With this regard th station must also do their part in giving Willie a lesson but also give him a chance to show his reformation in his attitude being a reponsible host.

I think Willie knows where he went wrong on this issue but still holds his pride one way or another. If he really violates broadcast code of ethics, then this should be dealt with accordingly. He should accept the suspension as the consequence for what he had said and done. It is important for him to show that he was really sorry about what happened by accepting whatever things he would be ask to abide with.
