I'm just wondering how my fellow mylotters are getting around now days. What is your method of transport. Bike, Car, Bus? If you have a car what kind do you drive? Do you like it, why or why not? Why did you choose the vehicle you have?

I am a fan of GM products. I have a Chevy truck that has over 180,000 miles, and it still runs great. I also have a little Buick, which is really good on gas, even though it is a 6 cylinder engine. I have owned that car for 7 years now, and it has really treated me right. I have driven it as far west as California, and as far east as South Carolina. I also have a bicycle that I ride from time to time. I don't really live close enough to ride it to the store. But I ride it for exercise, and if I just need something light, I can right it to the convenience store for a quick, enjoyable ride. Have a great day!

Its interesting how strong they build trucks. Cars never seem to make it as long or far as a truck can go. I think riding a bike sounds like fun. If I could afford one I would purchase one with an attachment for my two year old to ride in as well. What kind of a bike do you ride?

Taurus - My car, before I bought it.
I drive a little pick-up truck. I don't really care for it, especially during the hot summertime as there is no air conditioning in it, but at least it gets my husband or I around. We choose it because my husband was able to get it for cheap and as it was going to be used mainly by him to get to and from work he didn't care that it doesn't have a/c. I didn't expect to have to wait as long as I did to get another car, but after almost 2 years of waiting (with me using the truck), we finally got ourselves another vehicle. I choose a 2000 Taurus. At the time I was searching for a car I was really attracted to it. So after finding one I was interested in I had my husband check it over and we ended up buying it. Unfortunately, 6 months later, it started running like crap. That was back in March or April 2008. It's been sitting in the driveway ever since. I have to say, I don't care for it so much anymore. Especially so after my husband worked his butt off even harder than he already does just so we could save up and pay cash for it. What about you glords? What's your source of transportation? And are you happy with it?
