Obama says immigration reform has to wait.

At the North American Summit,Obama said that health care overhaul and financial regulation will be tackled first.
Is he really this stupid or is it an act?We don't need immigration reform.We need to enforce our immigration laws as they are or make them stronger.
Illegal immigration is a burden on our health care and our nations financial well being.We can't keep paying for illegals to get free health care,pay for their children to go to school and teach them in spanish,instead of them learning english and locking them up in our jails and prisons.
How much less would our prices be in stores if the signs and products weren't in english and spanish?Of course,the unemployment rate would be much lower.Anyone that says they do the jobs Americans won't is just stupid.The jobs they do are being done by Americans all across the country.Americans do it for a little more money,which means they actually pay income tax.The only way illegals pay income tax is by using a stolen social security number,which is illegal,too.
Maybe Obama needs to get his priorities straight and quit kissing the butts of other countries leaders.

Let's not forget the total lowering in standards when it comes to jobs taken over by illegal immigrants. They typically do shoddy work and one has to worry about whether or not construction done by them is up to par. That is not to say they are all like that, but we're dealing with those whose main goal is to make money as fast as they can then go back to their country where it's supposedly so cheap to live.

I ran construction jobs in Laredo TX for over 2 years! I think I was the only gringo on most of the jobs. There were numerous Illegals on all the job sites and I was in charge of most of them! Sorry you don't have a clue! Keep watching the tube and eating all that stuff up! But I lived it in real life! tdemex

Worked at a hotel where I was called to go behind them to clean the tubs they left filthy, dust, vacuum, remake beds they didn't properly make.
Lawn care where I live. When they are hired to mow the lawns end up being chopped up by them mowing immediately after it rains. Large chunks of lawn start missing and it ends up being fit only for pigs to wallow in.
And I said not all of them are like that. You need to lay off the Obama Berry Blast kool-aid.

Well all I have to say is they are not taking jobs, The american people are giving them the jobs. So many moan and groan but yet they will hire an illegal in a minute to do the construction or a roof to save the money. If we dont pay them then they leave. The recession has proven that many fleeing back because they cant find work. Dont put shame on the illegals for breaking in the law, The americans that are hiring them are breaking the law as well. Talk about encouragement for them now tell me who is causing the illegal immigrant problem? Is it the illegals or the Americans?

I think immigration reform absolutely HAS to come before health care reform. How can we set up a new health care system that will be less taxing on our economy when we have millions of people here that won't be paying for the system and yet will b benefiting from it (as they are right now)? I don't understand why this is not the number one priority. There are MILLIONS of people here not paying taxes and yet they are using our resources that other Americans are paying for. I think you are right that we would probably save tons of money, not only as individuals but also as a country, if we made sure to reform immigration before anything else.
Unfortunately, the steps to health care reform are already being laid. Sadly, I bet Obama did not think about illegal immigrants when he was coming up with this new health care system.
