Alexis Morgan, The Paladins series...do you read this one?

I am very curious to talk to someone regarding this series... The Paladins by Alexis Morgan....the first book is Dark Protector and I just finished it. I was hoping to find someone here that has read this series just so that I can discuss it. The forum site that I normally visit to discuss my books --a couple of the people are off on vacation, and one of my friends is currently moving.... so I dont have anyone to talk to about these ones!! 
Have you read this series...have you read anything by her....do you like her writing??

I love reading it sounds good. Do you recommend it? if you do I will read it. I need to branch out in the type of books I read so far mostly mystery and true crime. What type is this? I will find Dark Protector a serious I should start from the beginning.

It actually was a very good book, and I have the next 2 in that series... there are 5 books altogether so far.
It was very interesting and I love how she can take this series in so many ways... it is basically these Paladins that pretty much work the government protect the citizens by protecting these barriers under the ground...and they can be killed but they heal fast and revive --however they can die permenantly too... they are fighting the "others" on the other side of this barrier that splits the two worlds.
I know I am probably not explaining it well... I just read the first book and picked up the book just out of curiousity...it wasnt like I read anywhere that they were recommended. Thats why I was curious if anyone here read them.
