Dedicated turn lanes - why do people get into them and then SIT THERE???

So today I was trying to get somewhere and someone got into a dedicated turn lane in front of me and then did not turn. Now I don't understand this, if you do not intend to turn, then why get into a lane with an ARROW on it with a sign on the light that states 'right turn only'??
Does this annoy you? Do you DO it, even accidentally? Would you mind moving it along?

When I do, which is only accidentally, because I either I was given the wrong direction, or after wards I realized I didn't have to turn. I will just turn. And find another route.
It does not annoy me, I choose not to get annoyed over things which I have no control.
I always move it along, gotta keep the flow going or the universe will get angry with me.
Cheers.

Now that's funny. If I SHOULD have control over something, I should get irritated? If I HAVE NO control over it because I have to have something wrecked for me because someone else is being an idiot, I SHOULDN'T?
Sometimes I just want to shake somebody, these people who are holding up traffic have NO idea the boiling pot they have turned the universe into because they weren't paying attention lol. I think it's irresponsible, especially when you honk at them and they aren't even apologetic! If I am blocking traffic because I'm lost or something, I will get OFF THE ROAD while I'm figuring it out!

Well, I only get irritated at things I DO have control over, and try not to think about what I SHOULD...and in all truth and honesty the only thing we have COMPLETE CONTROL over, is our minds.
Getting off the road is a good idea, and it could be a far simpler drive, if every one else was as courteous, sadly not every one was taught courtesy, by the same people that taught you courtesy. A shame too, because if every learned from very courteous people there would be far less violence, and hatred. But again, other people is something we have NO control over. Hopefully a few dozen of them will read this post and feel bad, and start being better drivers and then others will follow that example. But, sadly we can only hope.
Cheers.

Some people just feel they own the roads and can do whatever they want whenever they want with no consideration for anyone else.

It is my feeling that if you IMPEDE or BLOCK traffic (regardless of the reason) when YOU are the cause and not something like an accident or closed road - YOU should lose your driving privelages. LOL! I'm not trying to be mean about this, but people who drive 30 miles an hour in a 45 zone bother me, as well as the people who get in a right turn lane and don't turn, or people who don't even get into a left turn lane but block a regular lane instead... all of those things are examples of poor driving or not knowing what you are doing - which to me is more unsafe than speeding!

people drive me nuts with that and with the either no turn signal but quick turn to where you almost run into them or their turn signal and then going to an complete stop before turning for no reason when they could have just made a slow turn not STOP then turn

Oh yeah, I don't like that either. Why does someone have to STOP before turning? That's not how I learned turning! Especially if you are turning OFF a road where other people are driving 40 miles an hour!
I also don't understand people who have to literally STOP before going over a speed bump in a parking lot or a residential street! Just go over the bump already! You do not have to PARK before you do it. It won't damage your car, I promise....

Because people...
1. Are half blind and honestly can't see what they're doing/shouldn't be driving
2. In a hurry
3. Not paying attention
4. Don't know the rules of the road (You'd be surprised)
5. Are just frigging idiots half the time!
(*Borrows the deleted expletive*)
Cheers!
