13.13.13 Do you think this number has anything to do with your poor performance in any field or in any arena?
The fact is that many a people is preoccupied with the 13 as an unlucky number. To my consternation I have found that the people of the West are more concerned with this number if compared to those of the East.
My son was born on March 13 and I have accepted this to be my lucky number for my son is too intelligent to his age.
What is is you take on this?

I use to play baseball with the number 13.
In fact I played with it right through high school and then I had to change it for college because an upper classmen already had the number and wanted to keep it. I actually like the number and have nothing against it.

True, even I have never had any disagreement with the number. Poor 13! I guess it is the most overrated number in the world. People are generally so scared of it, they refuse to take any important decision or stay in houses etc. I think its a personal thing. Each to his own. :)

Hi there,
That is fine. But many a soul does not tell the truth that he/she is scared this number. My point is why to make this 13 an inauspicious one as others have nothing attached to them.

The number 13 is just a number just like the number 6. It is the inter self that makes the numbers worthwhile. I personally think that a number is just that. I have several numbers that seem to be lucky for me. UcanQuote, you just carried the number with you to keep it simple and recognized as you. Don't you think?

HI there are exceptions anyways and that you treat your birth date 13 as luckier one is enough to eradicate the most western belief that it is not the no that is unlucky

They say 13 is not lucky number. In my views in that belief, it is not true in some instances and maybe in some it is only coincidence that something not good happen in that day. My cousin travel from my hometown to their province at the 13th of the month and Friday but nothing happen. If you believe in it it may be true but if you are not, it is not true.

That is nothing to believe for it, like in the phobia in 13, if we think something will associated with that number it is in our own risk already. It is not scary number and all numbers are not scary.
It is our way of thinking and our mind or thought is much scary than we think. It seems that our mind and thought control us that we believe in something not really happening.

no never i dnt believe in such things..i m more than happy doing anything i want widout cheching numerology..or vastu nd stuff...the most imp thing is to start anything wid lot of positivity in u...u will surely be lucky enough to get the best out of it..sooner or later:)

I am not scared at all of the number 13. 13 is just another number like 1,2,3 and so on. It doesn't make sense at all that we should be scared of the number 13. I, for one, do not believe in luck at all, so that is the reason why this does not make any sense to me.

Im not afraid of it at all Its just a number to me like anyother. I think iits funny because at the last hotel I stayed at the elevator skipped the 13th floor on the way up for some reason. But nope Im not afraid of the number 13. mAYBE THE NUMBER 0 CUZ well its nothing!!

Hi,
this is a fact that in some places there are no rooms with 13 and as I think there is superstition is attached to it.
This is nice knowing that you are not afraid of 13.

Hi krajibg! I'm not really scared of the number 13, although
I wouldn't purposely seek it out! Here in the US they actually
take the number 13 out of elevators! Like we can't figure out
that there is a number missing and the 14th floor is really
the 13th floor? I actually think that 13 may be lucky too since
most of my days are unlucky I don't get upset if the 13th
falls on a Friday which makes some people upset! I also have
a black cat, known to some to be unlucky and he is the most
sweetest cat I have ever had!

No. 13 this figures has nothing to do with me. 13 is not an unlucky number in my country anyway, nobody thinks about 13 brings bad luck but 14.

Nope, I'm not scared of the number 13 at all. As a matter of fact, had I not gone into early labor with my daughter, she was going to be induced on Friday the 13th of December 2002. But she was born preemie on December 4, 2002. Now, my son was the stubborn one and I wouldn't go into natural labor with him, he ended up being induced on Friday the 13th of October 2006. He is such an amazing child and between that and the fact that my daughter could have been a Friday the 13th baby as well, I consider it to be lucky for me.

Hi Krajibg,
I live in a number 13 Doorway and if anything things have gone better since we have lived here. I think it can have a good or a bad influence. Things that are bound to happen, happen on a 13th be it Tuesday or Friday. This just could be coincidences too I think.
But no I´m not scared of the Number 13 not anymore. Maybe before I might have believed in it a little but not now. Bad things happen on any day of the week and you don´t have the 13th every day do you?
More it´s just suspicion an outdated belief.
I can think of other dates that could be more unlucky according to me but it just don´t add up anyway things just happen when they happen.

hi....i am a really not in numerology.........but i don't like this concept....and i personally don't like this.............and i don't know the people of west but i think that numbers hardly effect i any field........so don't you worry..and 13 for me the imp day because my sister was born..........

This is mostly western concept though the Sikh people accept no 13 as the lucky no andf this is lucky for me too as my son was born on 13 march and if believe in the wester belief Emperor Julius Caesar was killed on March 13 only.

Whether she was born on 13th or not,
That 13 is nothing to do with that Number13.
If you take that 13 as her lucky number.

I am sensitive to the figures do not,in fact,these fears are unfounded,the figures hae been created by mankind is arbitrary,why should we unnecessarily worried?

I really scared of the number 13. It is always unlucky for me especially when i play cricket and many people also believe that 13 is an unlucky number for them. Many people do not believe that this is not an unlucky number and believe that it is lucky for them. What is your thought on this number? Please feel free to discuss...

I try to avoid the number 13. Each 13th of each month either I am moody or I drop things.But with that said ,I have had wonderful 13th days.I once went to a great party on July13th.I had a great time and I don't remember dropping anything.

I am not scared I just know the day won't be perfect. But I must confess , as I write this it is August 13th and I got the best news and I did drop a little thing but so far the day has been great!

No, I don't. And I have always said that I consider Friday the 13th dates as lucky! It freaks a lot of my friends and family out to this day! I guess I am just not that superstitious. Still drives me crazy when I am in a large building and there is no floor number 13!!!

If like these things happen, I admit quinnkl This kind of activities are at the peak of craziness....
I fear those people has took the number from the number system...
They will count like this....
1, 2, 3,....11, 12, 14, 15,.....

When I was a little kid, I was really afraid of the number 13 because of friday the 13th superstition. But now I don't find it scary anymore and I don't believe its very unlucky. I believe in lucky charms and lucky numbers. For me 13 is a lucky number. I used this number on lottery tickets or bingo numbers and it gave me some luck.
