My vote is for skype. It doesn't take that much ram to use and the video and voice are exceptional. In addition, you can add a phone number so your friends and family can call your computer wherever you're at with internet connection. Their rates are fairly reasonable. So which one you like the best, skype, msn, yahoo, or google talk?

For me MSN (Windows Live Messenger) is the best, it gave me no problem at all, and It doesn't disturb me while playing games (Yahoo Messenger alerts is sooo annoying)
But now I'm using Ubuntu Linux so I use Pidgin and it can be used for MSN, YM, GTalk, AIM, ICQ, or Jabber

Hi,
I don't really know about which software is the best since I have only used one IM chat software, and that is Microsoft's Windows Live Messenger. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
