I am a good person with a bad problem. I have a very very bad health problem, it happened 12 years ago from an accident at work. I don't get disability. I sell merchandise with my art/photography on different products you see when I post an image. I teach pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, newborn/postpartum classes online. I have written 32 books to sell online. My very very bad health problem is called "Thoracic Outlet Syndrome". Here's definition:Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS)
TOS is a condition caused by the compression of nerves or blood vessels, or both, caused by trauma, disease or congenital deformity. A narrow space between the clavicle (collar bone) and the first rib, the thoracic outlet is a region crowded with blood vessels, nerves and muscles.
The result of TOS is pain, numbness or weakness caused by the pressure put on the nerves or blood vessels. Symptoms may present as mild or severe and continuous, extending to fingers and hands and causing discoloration and weakness in the arm.
Diagnosis of TOS begins with a doctor’s exam and then may be supported through the use of MRIs and X-rays.
There are a number of ways to treat TOS. Most begin with exercises to stretch and open the tissues associated with the thoracic outlet. If symptoms persist or remain severe, surgery is an option.
Vascular surgeon Ali Azizzadeh, M.D. makes an incision just above the clavicle during a surgery that lasts between two and 2 ½ hours. Scalene muscle is removed, along with the first rib, easing pressure on the brachial plexus nerves – a network that provides movement and sensation to the arm, hand and fingers. The procedure also eases pressure on the artery that runs through the area, relieving the discoloration often caused by the condition.""Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgeons provide diagnosis and repair for damaged or diseased blood vessels. Patients with vascular-related medical needs receive care from a team of specialists that may include cardiologists, neurologists and diagnostic radiologists."Please shop at my store, or donate to my website, help me earn money to move home soon and resume medical care I require. Thank you.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have that..Back in 1979 I also was told I had it. I went under many many tests. The reason I went in was my fingers were numb on my right hand. You could of smashed them and I wouldn't of felt it. Out of all the test they did find I had Carpal Tunnel in my Right hand. I had surgery on my wrist and then I had alot of Physical Therapy. Since all that I have not had any problems. I was told if I wanted the surgery it would have to be a real bad attack. But with everything I did it seemed to have helped clear it up.
If you can get another opinion. Also try the Physical Therapy as I did know a lady who had the surgery and they did one side at a time back then. It takes longer to heal from the surgery, but I know how the pain can hurt so bad all you want to do is sit and cry. My arms had hurt so bad at times I didn't know what to do.
God Bless you and stay positive all on this as it helps...

I've been doing physical therapy for 12 years. It does help, but will never "cure" the problem. Thank you for your emotional support!
