Do you ever come across missing or strange things in your deep freeze?

My son was rather suprised a few minutes ago whilst rummaging in the freezer looking for a bag of hidden jellybeans (not strange at all - a good hiding place and it stops them from melting) to come across an eyebrow pencil encased in ice. He couldn't understand what it was doing in there as clearly wasn't edible, but I must have thrown it in when I found it melting in my bag and completely forgotten about it. Any lost or strange items in your freezer?

Well I have found those lost discussions you were on about in my freezer, lol. But on a serious one a few years back I will admit I found a pair of trainers in the bottom of the freezer which I had forgotten I had stuck there. You may ask why .... go on ask. Well I read somewhere that if you put a smelly pair of trainers in a sealed bag (note sealed bag) in a freezer for 24 hours it helps to destroy the bacteria which causes the smells and surprisingly it does work. Just this time I forgot that I had put them there altogether. At least they smelt remarkably fresh when they finally defrosted.

Hi ivy, see you've changed your avatar. I thought of you when my son found the eyebrow pencil in the freezer earlier If you forget to take the iced coffee out of the freezer you should trying putting a stick into it and making it into a frozen coffee ice lolly. I'm always doing the same thing with water when I just want it really cold and then end up with yet another bottle of ice.
