I had an ebay store but closed it due to fees. I still sell on ebay though. I have tried to use other online auctions but I have only been able to sell on ebay. I guess ebay still is king for auctions.

I occasionally sell my children's gymboree clothing on Ebay. I had thought about opening a store, but read too many complaints about the fees. What do you sell?

I fees are enough to make you not open a store. You pay a monthly fee and then fees to list. Store listings are not given the same exposure as just plain auctions. I sell kid's books and clothes and homeschool material.

I didn't realize it was so easy to scam a buyer through paypal. There should be some type of investigation before deducting funds.

I've not had a store, but I've sold mostly book packages, grade level curriculum and it has sold well. But between the PayPal fees and the ebay fees, I wonder if I even get two thirds of the bid prices. The rich keep getting richer.

Paypal is part of eBay. I am so tired of fees! Sadly, online auctions that are free or have lower fees are not doing well.

I have sold a couple of times on ebay old clothing items and such. I do tend to purchase more than I sell though.

I do occasionally sell items like books and toys on eBay. I have made a lot of money reselling things I wondered how I could have paid so much for in the first place!
