how does a gentleman express I love you?

The girlfriend often requires me to say "I love you" to her with tenderness, but I can not say out and cherish these words as gold, then she don't think me to love her enough. Why the ladies like seizing this sentence, do gentlemen have other unique way to express love?

Many girls like to be treated good and away from harm. Make her feel safe, then say I love you*luciano pavarotti accent*. If that doesn't even work, try saying I love you, then kiss;)
Yes, we have other ways of expressing love like being friendly, helping others, etc. In fact, there are MANY kinds of love. Love for parents, love for teachers (if any), love for the opposite gender, love for animals, love for nature, etc.
Just be somewhat hard on her, let her think that she's exaggerating your relationship, as a simple "I love you" won't suffice. Tell her "I love you so much to the peak of heaven, to the greens of the garden, to the lost place of eden, to a place not so stricken, to a comfy bed with maidens."^^ (I know it's so corny)

Well, if you love each other then all you need to do is be yourself. Your partner already loves you for who you are. If you want to show a form of physical affection(not sexually) then simply give the person a giant hug and kiss. not a peck, a kiss. Just having you in their arms is all it takes for them to feel loved.

I have meet lot of girls / women with similar "habit". They need to hear it. They do not understand love only as behave, gesture, bodylanguage, time spent together, money , whatsoever. For them - memento ! - audio declarations worth more than anything else. If you said it publicly, even better.
For them the proverb "verba volent" haven't yet been invented ...
Call her in the morning - weak her up from her morning beauty sleep just to tell her "I love you" and you just made her day and you are her hero ..
