Recently my nails have gotten longer and healthier again...so I have been making sure they are painted and trimmed. But there is always the keep up to any beuty regimen. So how often do you paint your nails? Do you sometimes slide by with touchups? Do you think anyone notices?

I try to always keep my toenails painted because I live in flip flops and sandals. My fingernails I just do when I feel like it. I have always been lucky and had nice strong nails that grow quickly and I used to keep them polished all the time. Now I live at the beach and have a much more casual lifestyle so it's not so important. When I do paint them I tend to chose a light color so that if it gets a small chip it is not really noticeable. I find that I enjoy filing and painting alot more than taking off the polish.

I paint them during the weekends. So they remain nice looking through the week.I do it every weekend.I don't like to see chipped nail paint. So for me its once a week. Then again, if on a weekday there is some important function then I paint my nails accordingly.

I paint new colors on my nails when I go out. I don't like to see my nails have no color if I go out, they look n a k e d and ugly... cannot stand it... So I mostly paint it like once a week because I usuaully go out at the weekends. But I have a very bad habit is I don't wash it off during the weekdays, just wait until the next time I need to paint it... it is not good for the nails.

I have fake nails so i go every 2 weeks to get a fill and every few months or so, geta brand new set. When i don't have fake nails i usually don't go to the nail salon.

I remove the nail polish and repaint about once a week. I'm letting them breathe for a while right now, though. I usually don't paint them a solid color, but use a sparkly topcoat to just give them a hint of color and glitter. My current favorite color is Cover Girl Boundless Color in Ruby Dust.
