Another day I wont be home.... my summer has been busy!!!!

Yesterday we had a playdate with some friends from my sons school... and today I got a call from my mother and she said my cousins want to get together today since they lost power from the storms and they were doing things for that... so she asked if we wanted to get together today go to the waterpark..... so of course I said yes, it is going to be sunny and 80...perfect weather for a water park!!! 
When I started to pack my bag again for the day I realized that I have 3 bags that I am using during the week....since it depends on where we go!
and I was pulling some stuff out of one bag and into another... so yet another day I wont be home to get things done (not that my house looks bad--I have been staying on top of things around here when I am home)... and another day I wont get in computer time 
This got me thinking.... how has your summer been going?? Have you been busier than normal?? Not getting as much computer time as you would like??

I also feel busier in this summer. It seems I have many things to do. In the morning I went out to pick blackberry, it was about one hour. Then I came back to have a very simple breakfast with my husband.Then we went out to collect one friend from Dubai. Then we went to pub having lunch. Now I try to spend some time on mylot websites. Although i feel busier in summer i still love summer most than other seasons.

true, summer is a great season to be busy in... the weather cant be beat!!! I love fall time myself, with the changing of the colors and being in jeans and a sweatshirt... but it has been a very busy summer for us and we are enjoying it!! LOL
I just need more time to get on the computer to make more money!!

It is good to be busy, our summer has been rather slow due to the economy, and not having the extra to spend. but we have been able to go to a few cookouts, and have a few ourselves. and we have been able to take the bike out on a few weekends just to ride through the mountains. The kids usually come and spend part of their vacations with us (they live in a different state) but they have not been able to come this summer because of the economy. and i miss not being able to spend time with them and my grandchildren.

I know all about the economy taking a toll on us and then my hubby got hurt too...with slowed him down even more!!! but thanks to my mom buying a pass to one of the parks near us, we have been going there at least once a week, my aunt has had her granddaughters and we do bbq's over there and once in a while we get out that actually cost us stuff but with coupons it isnt so bad!!
sorry that your kids couldnt come this summer... I hope they get to make up for it next year!!! I know the reason we are doing so much this year is because my parents really want to spend time with my kids too!!! (grandparents time!!)

My summer has been the complete opposite of yours. Due to health issues, I've been home more than usual. I've only worked about 3 or 4 weeks this summer, so I'm home alot and therefore on the computer more. This has given me more time for MyLotting, but I would rather be able to get out and have some fun.

I am guessing after school starts I will be home more often since I will be driving and picking up my son for school... but will be more cautious of my time in between that time period. LOL
I am sorry that you are not getting out as much, hopefully you will be doing better and get to enjoy the fall season then!!

I stay busy even though I don't work. The computer is one of the things that is keeping me so busy. I was pretty busy out at EASI the first two months but we are taking a break this month since it has been so hot. It's not good to get shorse too hot, especially if it's an aged horse. I guess you think I'm horse crazy, don't youlol! I feel like that's all I ever talk about on this site. Kathy.

No I do not think you are horse crazy... I think it is something that you have been busy with and that is something that you have great knowledge on so that is what you talk about!! I would much prefer that... I try not to go to discussions or even start discussions on things I dont have much knowledge of, unless of course it is something that I am asking about!!! 
it is good to be busy than be bored, only I am not getting the computer time I did get when it was winter... not that I want cold weather just yet!!! 
I just need to build up my earnings now before the holidays get here!!

I don't respond to discussions I don't know anything about, either. When I first joined mylot, I thought I had to respond to all of them. That really takes a lot of time, too. I agree with you in that being busy is better than being bored. Time flies by a lot faster when you're busy, too. Kathy.

i haven't been to busy this summer i did go to my sisters 89th birthday party saturday with all of my family. i have been to the doctor's office alot lol does that count?i had rather been doing something else. i am glad you had a good to have this outing.

It is good to get out and enjoy the summer, and I know it is great to get my kids out of the house so they arent bouncing off the walls!!

Well, we people in the Equator has Summer all year round. We wish to have Winter and then we can talk about how is your Winter coming along?
