A proposal to purchase

I have a family member who would love to buy 5 acres behind their property. The money is really tight, as most of us can relate. Now my family member and her husband, have done the research and found that the price of an acre is $5,000.00 USD (5 acres @ $5,000.00= $25,000.00). The proposal is to offer stock of equal value minus 20% of a very profitable company. This could make someone some money, or it could break them. What would you do if you were the seller. Does this sound like a good deal or would you stay away from this kind of offer. Peace, Totty
