Does Prayer Work?

People often think that when ever they need something all they have to do is go and pray and God will give them what they want. Though the bible says God will give you the desires of your heart it also says that He will do that when we SEEK Him FIRST! When our lives are not right and we are not striving to please God each day, our prayers really dont go any higher than the ceiling. Prayer is very powerful, one of our most powerful weapons against things that come up against our lives. Prayer does work, but in order for prayer to work you have to be in tune with God. Have a realtionship with his son Jesus Christ. Seek to please God, and trust Him to handle your situations. Do not waiver in your faith but believe what God says He will do. Have you ever seen the power of prayer? Share a time in your life when you saw God work, when you prayed for something specific and He gave it to you!

In 2004, I was in a sales position job and I have been seeking god's help to give me a sale. Otherwise, the company will terminate my service. I was in the merge that it is really impoossible to make it. When miracle happens, a walk in client came to my branch and requested that I make her a proposal and he agreed with the amount to pay. He instantly ask for the application. This client make me stay longer in the company. He even referred me to his colleagues. In 2007, I was on the top 20 sales agent.
