Newborn Passing

My cousin just had her second baby Sunday, the newborn passed 13 hours later :((
This would have been her second child, first boy....Layton David.
He was full-term, she had him naturally. As soon as he was born, they took him right away to help get him breathing, about 5 hours later they had him rushed to a bigger hospital and he was on life support. They said the right side of his heart wasn't fully developed all the valves, tubes, veins.
I feel so sorry for her and the rest of the family and can't imagine the pain and heartache. Its such a tragedy for them. Though, I know Layton is in a better place; one can only wonder what the Lord meant for this situation.
R.I.P. Little One.

I'm so sorry for your cousin! 
I just visited my cousin on Monday--she was the baby that my aunt and uncle wanted so badly, after 4 miscarriages and one stillborn baby. I don't know what God intended in letting Layton die so soon but He never, ever does anything without a reason.
Be there for your cousin and her husband, let them talk, let them cry. Maybe this is a lesson for you or someone else, who knows? God works in mysterious ways and sometimes we hate Him for His methods. The same way we misunderstood our parents.
I hope your cousin and her husband find peace. Layton, of course, is in God's arms.

I am sorry. Yes, We are wondering the same thing, for nothing showed any signs until Layton was born. His heartbeat was normal rythms, he kicked and moved and we all thought everything was "normal." God does work in very mysterious ways and just wish we all knew what will happen and what is intended to happen. I am thankful for your thoughts and comments.

My heart is with your cousin.... it hurts to go through. I lost 2 babies with-in hours of their births. They were two years apart. I know it is very hard to over come this type of loss... but they will get through this. For their daugther if nothing else.

I am so sorry for your loss, I know this has to bring up so terrible tragedies. Again I am sorry for your sudden losses and thank you for you condolences.

My symphaty is with your cousin and your family.I could only imagine losing a child. I know it was hard for your cousin to carry this baby and only get to spend time with him for only 5hr. Let your cousin know god has plan for her son.She will see him again if she believes. He is in a better place right now. She can keep him alive aswell by speaking about him.you said he has a name, that great. Tell her to stay strong.

Thank you and I sure will. Tomorrow and Friday is going to be the hardest two days for me and I am sure for her as well, yet everyday will have some affect on her. thanks again.
