A baby or small child crying or whining in a movie theater. Especially if nobody tries to take it outside of the theater to comfort it. And even more so if it's a movie that children have no business watching anyway (PG13+).

Yeah, that is annoying to me too. It happened to me once while I was watching an animated movie. The mother and her 5 year old child were beside me. The child began crying for some reason and it really ruined the whole experience for me. I wasn't able to concentrate on the movie.

with the fingernails scratching in a blackboard is not that annoying,but your brother singing..its indeed annoying!LOL... For me the sound of my alarm clock is the most disgusting of all the sounds, even if I am in the dream land it runs after me..LOL..

LOL. I once threw my alarm clock when it won't stop ringing. Yes, it can be pretty annoying especially if you still want to sleep.

fingernails scrach glasses's sound is horrible to me .
I also don't like children's screaming and the mouse zhizhi sound

i have to agree many people don't like that scratching sound at all, it is aweful and even i don't like it . . . i should say noise to me most hurts when i try to sleep, any thing that makes a considerate amount of sound makes it annoying, i want to sleep peacefully and then .... anyways i also don't like the chattering voices of extremely talkative women, it just bugs me so much, i don't know how i will react to such women when they start talking to me like that...

Chattering women are not that bad for me. But i understand their voices can be pretty annoying to other people. I have to admit, i may be one of those chattering voices because when I'm with my girl friends, we usually do a lot of chattering. LOL. Guess it's a girl thing. LOL

I think the sounds of machines and the planes are the most annoying for me.In the past the old airport had the route pass my house.I would often hear the plane sound over my house.I heard them.

In my waking hours I do not really get upset of any particular sound as such, but while sleeping i get disturbed by all possible sounds. While on flight or during any journey, the sound of snoring drives me crazy. Snoring does affect my sleep too.
I do not like people banging the door open/close, i find it very rude and impatient. Then the sound of chewing!!! I will have to distact my thoughts until i finish my meal if someone in or around my table is making that sound.

I would have to say fingernails on a chalkboard, definitely. Although I haven't heard that sound in real life, judging from cartoons and TV shows it sure is a horrifying, screeching noise. I wonder how the people scratching the chalkboard do it.
