Flowers. What is your favorite and do you have it in your garden?

I love to grow flowers. We have tulips, roses, bee balm, hyacinth - just to name a few. I would love to have more flowering plants in my garden, but we don't get full-sun where we are. There are many tall trees around the yard. I won't cut them down so we settle for plants that require part-sun. Do you grow your own plants? If so what types?

My favourite flower is the rose and I have a garden bed of all different coloured ones across the length of the front of the house. They are all in full bloom at the moment and with the drought we have here am surprised as this has been their best year yet.

You are so lucky! I have some roses but they do not do so well because of the lack of sun. My Aunt had a rose bush that was so beautiful. The blooms were light pink and the fragrance was heavenly.

I love lavendar but can not grow it at all! I have tried three times to grow it but it is just so hard to grow. I am thinking of just throwing some seeds into the area with the ivy in our back yard to see if it will grow without me trying to tend to it. LOL
But I also love roses! But I love the grayish purple thornless rose!
I have never tried to grow those. I don't seem to have a very green thumb for starting any new plant. LOL

I can't grow lavendar either. It needs full sun to thrive. We have too many trees in our yard.

I love roses. My garden does not have enough sunshine to support roses.

I like tulips and roses.
Right now I have no garden or flowers. I do have some shrubs and plants. I plan on adding flowers after the cold speel is over.

I love flowers in the garden. I just wish I had a sunnier spot to grow them in.

my favorites are the roses (everyone loves them), the christmas flowers (or Poinsettia pulcherrima), lillies, lilly of the valley and tullips. for a long long while i only loved tullips because my grandfather had a nice garden at his countryside home. his mother used to grow hundred of tulips each year but we couldn't go everytime to see them. 1 year my grandfather came back (i think it was around the end of april the beggining of may) with his arms full of tulips. he had brought them for me. since my birthday is almost at the end of april and he couldn't be with me, when he returned from the countryside he had brought me the most beautiful present of my life. his arms full of tullips. it's the nicest memory i keep of him, as he passed away almost 3 years ago.

My aboustle favorite flower in the whole world is a yellow rose. I love them. I don't have a yellow rose bush yet, but I will someday. I also enjoy tulips and have tried planting them, but I don't think our front flower bed is very good, it needs completly revamped.

I love flowers. My favorites are carnations, roses and tulips. I planted some tulips this year and I am hoping that they grow. I am not very good at this sort of thing but I try. I want to buy a rose bush this year too. I have always wanted a lilac bush in the yard, maybe this will be the year for that.

I love roses & tulips. I do have some roses that we planted before we bought our house. I have different things every year. I love flowers, but am not a gardener. My mom buys me flowers & plants them for me for Mother's Day every year.
