I love bonsai trees, they're so pretty when they're tended right! I have books on doing bonsai's, and I've tried it a couple of times, but they never thrived the way I want them to. Some of them come out so beautiful! I just love the ones I've seen that are so old. They are an art form unto themselves, and it takes a skilled person to take care of them just right. Funny, I grow orchids, which people always tell me are hard to grow, yet I can't do a bonsai and get it to thrive.

Hello Yuga. How are you ? Yes, I have seen Bonsai Trees. I have visited Japan a few times, and had the chance to visit different regions in the country. I was also in places in the country side, and that's where I saw beautiful Bonsais, very artistic.

Hello again :) I have seen beautiful bonsai plants in containers or shrubbery in front of US homes that are trimmed using the Bonsai method. So intricate! I would love to learn that art. Karen

My husband knows how to make bonsai. It is very artistic and I like it. But, sometimes I feel sorry for the tree because the tree cannot grow up naturally. I mean it is like we design the growth of the tree into a smaller one. I wonder what the bonsai tree feels.
