How often do you use your car?

Hi myLotters, just a quick question- how often do you use your cars? How far do you travel in your car everyday? Have you driven less to save money and the environment?
I drive around a couple of miles everyday to run errands, and on the weekend a little further than that for a weekend getaway with my friends.

i use my car daily, i have a lot of work that i have to do by roaming so i use my car quiet often. i drive at least around 30 miles a day :) yes that's true. i hang out with my friends and do all kinds of stuff, so i take my car generally.
In my country the oil pricing is expensive so that i will drive only to pick up my son to go to school and i will use only when i have important really.

I actually gave up my van because it was costing too much and i was moving to a small city and after getting used to it im finding i have so much more quality time, im not driving around to stores buying stuff i didnt really need in the first place and when i walk places with my kids im actually spendind time with them and talking to them instead of putting them in car seats and them getting bored and acting up and ive found friends and family more than willing to drive me places when its necessary and i always offer gas money, the money and time i save by not having a vehicle far outway the times when its inconvinient!

The moment I step out of my house.Here we can use the public transport system but the thing is the publuc bus stops some 1-2 kms away from my destination.I have to get an auto or walk that distance to reach.Likewise to get the bus from my house its again 1-2 kms.Why waste time for that?So without my car I wont step out.

My office is so near from my house,but I drive to work everyday,less than ten miles.If I go further ,I just want to take a bus, the price of oil is high here,I would like to save money.

I recently moved to a new state, so my routine is totally different than what it use to be. As of right now I don't have a job, so I'm not driving my car as much as I normally would. On a normal day though I drive my car into town which is 7 miles or so , depending on what part of town I'm going to. Other than that that's all I'm really using my car for right now. Once I get a job I w ill be using it a lot more, unfortunately!
