What was your experince or would you ever do it?

Hello to all that answers/responds to this discussion. Well I am talking about Waxing. I have never waxed before but I am thinking about getting my legs waxed. So what I am trying to do is get everyone's experince on what it was like. Plus if you never got a wax before would you consider it? I know that I have heard from a few people that said it is not painful but then I heard from others that it is painful. So now I am not sure if I want to get one done. I think if I got my legs waxed, it would be a one time thing to see what it is like. So any opinions and experinces would be very much helpful.

I have never done waxing, at home it seems it would be messy and done professionally a waste of money in a way. Maybe Im just old, give me the old fashion razor .. lol
I think it would sting but not hurt alot thou. Then again I can handle lots of pain.

Hello, well I never thought about waxing this way before. For me it would be senseless to do at home because my luck my boys would be trying to help me instead. As for waste of money, that is true. I hope to do it once and see how much it cost and if I cold handle the pain. Which should not be a problem because I got tattoo's.

I've had my eyebrows waxed. It was relatively quick and painless but I think waxing your legs would hurt a bit more. I heard that waxing would get rid of the hair for longer but I rather stick to shaving.

Hello, I would think that getting my eyebrows would hurt. But then my eyebrows are sensetive anyways. I always thought that waxing kept the hair away longer. Well maybe I should give it a try and see how it is like.

I've gotten my legs waxed before, the experience for me was not that painful. I guess it varies from person to person because of the level of concentration, sometimes you are too concentrated on the pain and you feel pain. If you don't concentrate on the pain, then you won't feel it. For me, it was a little 'sting' for about 2 or 3 seconds and the pain quickly went away... the experience wasn't that bad for me.

Hello, well that makes sense. Now I do have a question though. Does it feel like having tape on your body hair and having somebody pull it off fast? Because if so then I would have no problem at all. I think I will be going for it. I hope for the best.
