The most serious problem the world has today is that EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD!! There is enough food in the world to feed everyone. Think now everyone. Why doesn't the world feed everyone??

because our politicians suck and because big corporations want to make more money then they already have. A few farms around my place were cut down within last few decades because apperantely having one supermarket wasn't enough, we have to have 3 and having 1 hardwear store isn't enough ether, 3 is better. I want food that grow on trees a block away from my house, not the once that grow over seas and are shiped there unripe.

Poverty is a result of the fact that we are not accepting of others, or willing to be comfortable in coexisting.

I agree with you here. You need money to live, and there are so many people who have no money at all to pay for food. It's strange, though, why one person might be so rich that he can call a few million dollars a small amount of money. A few million dollars can feed a lot of starving people, but not many people will be willing to give money away to the poor.

I think it's faulty government. they do all they can to make more money for themselves even if it hurts orthers. even starvation in some of the parts of africa if fault of their government. back in the days those countries had farms, forests, there was a lot of food growing there. Government cut down the forests to start industry, never built any companies there, but the forests were gone and people were left without source of food. same goes with polution and war, those who make money on it simply don't care about everyone who will suffer from it. they pay off the government to pass bills that would allow them to do all of that, and government officials are happy to make extra $

If you can list down all of the problems of the world, you probably have a long list of laundry list. You can have a million years to do it bur you will never finish it. But all those problems about peace, poverty, AIDS or even ignorance can all be traced down to one single evil that resides in the hearts of men and that is PURE HUMAN GREED. Because of greed, people will rip each other apart and eat each other just so they can be the richest and the most powerful. And because greed is insatiable, you can expect people of this world to stop eating, hurting and ripping other people apart until greed consumes them. Because of greed, starvation, famine, poverty is a lingering social illness across the world. Rich people doesn't want to part a portion of their wealth to uplift the lives of their poorer brethren. Sad to say that all the richest country in the world and the most powerful men in the world live in opulence and their eyes and ears are numbed to the suffering of the rest of the worlds nation. Because of greed people will go to war because they wanted to have what other people have. Because of greed racism exist. Because of greed our world is destroyed, the environment raped of its resources. Only when we stop being greedy and allow ourselves to be cleansed of such disease that the world will be a better place.

Yes Poverty is up there but I think crime against mankind is even worse. People are killing each other left and right all over the world. Instead of helping each other and being kind and helpful to others we are killing each other. I think this is one of the bigger problems of the world today.

So cliche, but world peace. Too much money is being wasted on killing innocent people and it just breaks my heart.
