Do you sing along in the stores? I rarely hear people singing along to the music in the stores. When I hear a song that I enjoy I always sing along. This is not only during the Christmas season, but all year long. I do not feel it is inappropriate. I do have a nice voice, and that is not just me blowing my own horn, others have complimented me.
Have you ever been complimented on your singing abilities?

My husband played Christmas music all day yesterday. He put up our tree too.

No, I have never been complimented.
I have however sung to a song I have heard in a store. But quickly got quiet when I thought someone could hear me.
My 6 yr old daughter can sing rather well for her age. I do compliment her and try to get her to sing more. As I love hearing her voice. (She gets her singing ability from her dad, not me)

Singing is something that brings sunshine to a darkened day. I love to sing. I wish that I had the courage to do it more in public. Glad that you compliment your daughter. It encourages them to continue and boosts their self esteem.
