Human kind has been waring since man discovered that the hand moved and could pick up an object and either stricle and throw with it. The caveman used wood and stone, has time passed arrows and spears were formed then caltiputs to hurl even larger rocks. We went from there to guns and then to the atomic bomb. The end result? More death and destruction without resolution. the areas of the earth that have had wars in the past are still fighting over the same piece of land and the same who's God is the best.

No. We are not more civilised. We are more educated now but we are still killing each other because of religion, colour or for possessions. Our weapons are a lot more sofisticated and we can kill more people with them. We spend more money on weapons and there are people in the world starving. A lot of the time they are starving because there is a war on in their country. That is not being civilised. Being civilised is living together and respecting each others differences and respecting the environment we live in.

I'm sorry but we are no more civilised. We have just had more time to think up cruel ways to hurt each other and destroy our world, we've made up some rubbish excuses too. I think we should be ashamed of what we are doing to the planet.

civilisation, is only skin deep.. 1000 years back, we were more civilised from within.. disagree, ok, please tell me, animals !!! are they civilised, do they destroy nature and themselves as we do ??? i say, let us regress back to nature, regress possibly back to the garden of eden, with a renewed faith in love, and that is all what god is, as i perceive, love and nothing else.. arvind
