I'll be in the bathroom and the phone rings! I hate that! usually it is an importnat call,! Sometimes I rush to get the phone and sometimes I can't so I let the answer machine pick up the call! It would be so much nicer if I wasn't in the bathroom when people called!

You mean a caller Id. I don't have one. I did at one time but it adds to my phone bill. It is cheaper to not have one. It is nice to have one though!

No, I don't think it's the same thing as caller ID as doesn't that come from the phone company. My land line phone has the same options as a cell phone to put in numbers, and it shows who called for every missed call when I'm out. I think it's just a basic feature of phones now.

i realize you are referring to being in the bathroom at home... however... i have a funny story to share. if you think it is annoying when the phone rings at home and you are on pot it is really funny when the cell phone rings when you are in a public stall. lol. my friend and i were at the mall one day with the kiddos. we went into the bathroom for a potty break. while we were helping the kids wash their hands we heard a cell phone ringing from inside one of the stalls. we looked at eachother and kind of snickered. we assumed the phone would just ring and the person would let it go to voicemail... ummm... nope! LOL. we heard the person say hello. it took all i had not to burst into laughter right then and there! it was truely entertaining. :)

I still hear the phone ringing when I am in the bathroom but not as much lately. A few times my cellphone has rang when I am in the bathrom,too! Still frustrating and annoying!

Hello blue65packer,
It's darn annoying that it happens to most of us right? If you are talking about your cell phone, then try to bring it along into your shower next time. But make sure to place it somewhere dry! If it is the fixed line you are refering too, then no choice, let the machine pick it up. After all, how long can your shower be? How important it is, it can wait a few minutes. I doubt you'll shower the whole day! :) Anyway, the phone just knows when's the best time to ring, when we are the busiest!

It isn't the cellphone that rings! it is my line land phone! I'd like to get rid of it and use only my cellphome. Unfortently if I did A&TT would disconnect my internet so I keep both phones.

I know it happens to just about everyon else! HAHA! I should write a book of Marhy's Laws that happen in my life and had those two you mentioned.I'm sure I'd have a best seller on my hands!
