In case when you are far away from your family for work purpose, how do you look after them in case of their need? Or in case of any accident or any urgent requirement.

Hello my friend rajupaul Ji, As a retired person's wife , who served in Armed Forces, where for erything 'Stand-By' and 'SOP' (Standard Operating prodedure) are followed and maintained. I am very much acustomed, which has given me many times fruitful results. Once, my Gyser caught fire, when my hubby was out, I informed him immediately as I knew his whereabouts. Many times, I had to live alone with my children, while my hubby was serving in forward areas, but we had back-up plans and all went well with some bickerings here and there. We are old and sometimes live alone. But we have instructed nearby NUrsing home, to rush up without worrying about payment. Such steps always help any one. We all must have something alternatives to deal with emergencies. May God bless You and have a great time.

This is a good question and I am not clear about what to answer. I am going through the same situation. I live in a different state and my parents are alone at home. I don't know how to help them in case of emergency. They are friends with neighbours; they can help them. Also, I can take a few days leave and go home if they need my physical presence. It is only one night journey to reach my home. I am leaving them to the hands of god and hoping that god will help them and take care of them. I make frequent calls to them and enquire about their health and other things happening at home.

in my case, communications is not enough. as breadwinner, you have to send them money. but sending some surprise gifts really puts spice to your absence. if you show you appreciate them and miss them, affection will grow more no matter the distance.

I am in constant touch with my family through my cell phone. I give them my complete schedule along with my clients mobile number, in case I go out of touch by any reason, they can contact any of my client to know my where abouts. One should be very careful while travelling.

Cellular phones are really the best gadget ever because we can connect to them anytime. If incase I'm away from my family, I would be regularly get in touch with them and ask what they need. And I would immediately respond to it. :D It's one way of making them feel that you're there for them even though you're far from each other.
