I've got a crystal amethyst and I'd like to make a magic wand out of it, any tips?

That site has some good tips for making one. I've made a few of my own too..I've found that generally the simpler the method and decoration the better.

Well Harry does not have the corporeal substance to fashion them out himself tho...hehehe
