Do you prefer window seat in air travel?

I prefer the window seat so I could stare out the window at the plane lifting and then at the clouds when the plane is in flight. I like the window seat better on trains though because on airplanes, the stewardess would ask the windows to be closed during certain times but on a train, I could admire the beautiful view for hours.

No, I would prefer to be on the aisle seat on planes and buses. I feel trapped and claustrophobic if I can't get out without getting someone else to move. On trains with a clear space in front of me to get to the gangway I prefer the window seat.
