Have you ever stepped on/ get burnt by a flat iron or a curling iron?

I never had any problems with burns while using my flat iron until last week. I left the iron on the floor to cool off (stupidly). It was left alone for a while, I came back and forgetting that I had placed the iron on the floor, stepped on it. It was still piping hot and the bottom of my foot was all red- it hurt to walk. A very valuable lesson learned that day.

That must have been no fun!!
but how can you step on the hot surface since it is a clip? you mean your toes step on it (tuck in in the middle?) I hope you at least remove the pain, hopefully, you would feel better soon!
never get burnt by thos irons, I got burnt by hot hot water and cooking pans though, same - no fun, painful...

I got burned by a curling iron. Those things get really hot. I was twisting my hair around it and using the mirror to see. It was confusing because everything was backwards and my wrist hit the curling iron. It hurts so bad but thank god no mark now. Ah, what women do for beauty. I hope you heal soon!
