What would you rather have- FiOS or cable?

Hey myLotters,
What would you prefer- FiOS or cable. I personally like FiOS better as it is a dedicated fast fiber optic line to your house. It provides faster upload and download speed than cable without all of this PowerBoost nonsense. Cable is shared between hundreds of subscribers which can slow down your internet at different times and does not provide a consistent speeds. Also, the upload speeds are very low, sometimes as low as 768kbps, while Verizon FiOS has a minimum upload speed at 5mbps.

It really depends on where you live
Cable where I live has upload speeds up to 10 mbps and download up to 50 mbps
Minimum is 3 mbps upload download is 15 mbps. There are also a couple of plans in between.
There isn't any Verizon FiOS where I live not even AT&T U-Verse
