I have a wonderful, most fun loving cousin ever. She just jokes around all day and plays practical jokes whenever she can. A few days ago we went through the drive-thru at Arby's and she ordered food with a Korean accent and then pretended not to understand the young lady when we went to pay. She's done worse, but I won't get into it. Who's the joker in your family and have they ever embarrassed you?

I am the joker in our family. I love to be silly and tell jokes. Guess I never grew up. One thing I can recall doing to our oldest daughter when she was a teenager was answering the phone and telling the caller my daughter couldn't come to the phone because she was changing her underwear. It was a guy no less..lol

My father is probably the funniest member of my family.....well..at least he thinks he is. He is quite humorous most times, but sometimes it just makes me want to roll my eyes and think "wow...you are such a goofball" and sometimes he makes me want to be far away from him so people don't know we are together. I think the time he embarassed me the most was once when i was a young teenager and we were at the mall. We walked past a store that had rap music playing, and he started doing this funky imitation of what he thought a rapper would do....i just wanted to melt into the floor and disapear as there were so many people around!

Hehehehe. . .
this made me laugh. I totally understand. I love my cousin to pieces but sometimes I just want to walk away so people don't think we're together. I can picture your dad doing his "thing" in the mall. Good memories, right???

I wish I had a dad that groovy..My step-dad was very strict and only thing he would do is maybe let off a fart in the store and he thought it funny...cause we would totally run to another aisle so no one thought we did it.

The funniest used to be my uncle. He was always doing something funny and yes, practical jokes abounded at family parties and gathering thanks to him.
I haven't seen him in over 20 years - ever since I came to Canada, but I got a few funny letter from him - I used to love his imagination and receiving a letter from him was always a treat. I always ended up laughing my head off:)
And I got A few packages from him over the years. They always have something tricky in them. The last one was a big box with my birthday present, but inside it were zillions of small boxes and smaller, and smaller ... and in the end my present came in a separate parcel LOL

We don't really have a designated jokester...though some of us have done more than one off the wall thing over the years. I've been the target more than once but everyone in our family knows that I have little glass feelings so I'm not "it" very often.

My brother is the most funniest in the family. He can be a frustrated dubber. He can do the voice of Spongebob squarepants even the laugh. he is good in copying other's voice. My cousin also have a big sense of humor but we seldom see each other because they already have a family of their own. My father also is funny. I believe my brother got hsi talent from my father. they did not embarrased me or anyone. They are the source of laughter everytime.

That is a fun way to be embarrassed I wouldn't mind it if it was like that. I guess family do love doing that though. I love babies just as much as the next person but if I am with someone in my family or my hubby's and they start ohhhing and ahhing over a strangers baby that can be embarrassing for me. I know if I had a baby the las thing I would want is a total stranger leaning over the baby or touching it. Their immune systems are low. And you never know what germs strangers carry.

My mom, brother and I are the funny people in our family. So far, we never embarrass any of our family members. Because we only make fun for the sake of it. And not really to make someone looks funny. Because we know it hurts.

It's my dad and he embarrassed my mom many times, not so much me. She was from the South and he used to tell people that he bought her her first pair of shoes, among other things!

I can't actually pinpoint one funniest member of our family because I think we are all crazy. When you put all of us together, you really don't want us to go out in public. We tell inappropriate jokes, we have a lot of family double entendres, etc. But, if I think back a little bit, my grandma had to have been the funniest member of our family, which probably explains why we are such a bad combination when we are all together.
Yes, before my grandma passed away, she did embarass me in front of one of my friends I decided to take up to her house. My mother had gotten out the vaccum cleaner attachment and was cleaning up the floor when my grandma took it from her and put it under her gown and proceeded to say that she "had to clean the cobwebs out."
