How to stop smoking habit?

Hi All,
One of my friend have developed habit of smoking, i want to stop his smoking habit. He used to smoke daily but not more than 2 cigarettes. Now tell me what to do for getting out of this habit? Any of your friends gone through this?

well,i have an idea to stop smoking habit.you can keep your friend's money,and buy some sweet food for him to weed out the smoking taste

I used a poison named Chantix to quit smoking and bought candy as you suggest. I´m trying to take off the 20 pounds I gained in one month
